It's absolutely being worked on, just a little bit behind the scenes at the moment.
If you're willing to peek behind the curtains, and you're using the pre-release Dock firmware, then you can look at some of the stuff we've been prototyping ( this hasn't changed much from the old cookbook examples, but they've been updated to work with ShipShape ):
- For the noisemaker, there's: http://flotil.la/shipshape/cookbook/synth.html
- With just a single slider, you can have a go at balancing: http://flotil.la/shipshape/cookbook/balance.html
- With Rainbow and Touch you can play with some mood lighting: http://flotil.la/shipshape/cookbook/mood-light.html
We're nothing if not pedantic about documentation and graphical appeal, so these examples are waiting for a bit of polish and a shiny new website detailing how to set up and use them.
On the ShipShape side there are ongoing bugfixes and tweaks. However, there's really no reason why you shouldn't be using the latest firmware and playing about with Rockpool ShipShape right now. It's high time we started pushing people toward that, in fact, since it means we can bump the firmware and have less to worry about when we start to release the shiny cookbook stuff :D
