I just read on here that the signal is unamplified..............Does this suggest it could go to a pre-amp? Also, do the RCA ports disable the 3.5mm jack or is it still available?

yes, the latest (shipshape) rockpool broke Epiphany... @gadgetoid fixed it in the master repo but I don't think it has made it's way into 'pre' yet as there are a couple of other bugs being worked on....

actually, the latest rockpool IS available in the 'pre' repo, so it should work again in Epiphany. Make sure you 'git pull' the latest or rebase your install so that it is fully up-to-date.
